Week 55 Late Pday

Hey everyone so yesterday we went to Porto Alegre for a Christmas party so thats why im emailing right now! Im dong super good here in Passo Fundo! We baptized again here! Im super happy! but i know we can do more and work harder. Im trying to think what has been happening but honestly im dead. We got dropped off in the street at 1:30 in the morning and we had to walk 30 minutes home and we didnt even sleep. We left sunday for Porto Alegre at 2 in the morning. So im just dead, but ready to serve and do my part! Love you all!

Week 54 So` Milagres

So this week was really good! I arrived in Passo Fundo! My area is super big and im super lost! We had these investagators who had their baptisms marked for this week right now but we went there and taught them really good and they loved it and they were baptized yesterday! We also should have 2 more this week! Im super happy and excited to work here! I have seen so many miracles and i know that God lives and that through us his work will be done. We have to prepare now.

Week 53 TRANSFERS!

Hey everyone,  so this last week we had one more baptism! I know I gave it all I could in Liberdade! I'm so happy to have passed there and change the lives of so many! Also I'm going to Passo Fundo (planaltina) is my area! I also got called as district leader. I'm super stoked and happy! I'm ready to work even harder and I know the lord has blessed me so much and will continue to do so! I love this work. I'm ready to do the lord's will. Also, this last week me and Elder Schade did a division and we yelled on the bus to share the Gospel! Everyone's gotta hear it, right? It was a super cool experience and there will be a lot more of it. Love you all!

Week 52 ONE YEAR DOWN

Hey everyone,

 I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving! We don't have it over here so it was nothing special. Tomorrow I hit my one year mark on the mission which is super crazy! time passes by so fast and honestly I love the mission and all of it! I'm so happy with the people I've met and the blessings I've seen and the miracles God has done through me. I love this work and i want everyone to hear about the restored Gospel! I know that this gospel changes lives and its changing mine for the better! Love you all!

Week 51 More Miracles of the week!

Hey everyone, this week was pretty alright! We didn't get to baptize this last week but we remarked them and we have 8 people who have dates and are gonna get in the water of baptism this weekend! A family of 4 and some other people that i have been working with for awhile! This week one of our investigators was sick with some disease and he didn't have money to buy stuff and we told him we could give him a blessing and now he is cured! I know that this is the true church and all the priesthood keys have been restored! Our beloved prophet holds all those keys. The priesthood has miracles! love you all!

Week 50 Hello World!

Hey, how is everyone? I'm honestly trying to think of what happened this last week but nothing crazy really. We found some new good people to teach and we are working a ton and if everything goes well we should have two baptisms this weekend, then next four, then 2 more again. So, I'm super excited and stoked. I had an experience this last week, it was raining and awful and all of our appointments fell through and we still had another two hours before our next one and we were hitting houses and nothing we hit for like 30 minutes and nothing then we decided to pray for help and literally once we ended that prayer the very next house we entered and taught! 

We need our Heavenly Father's help here on earth and he is willing to help us, we just need to ask! So always pray and communicate with him, he wants to hear from us and we are his children. We have a privilege to communicate with the most powerful and loving God. So pray! love you all and this week I hope you guys have some good spiritual experiences, Share your testimonies to someone this week. love you all!

Week 49 Miracles of the Week

So this week was pretty good! We had a baptism and we also met a family of 4 this last week. We are preparing them to be baptized this week right now! I'm so happy to be a missionary of the true church! This is the lord's church and his work. There is no other way, we have to be 100 percent obedient in all things if we want to be blessed. The small simple sins we make lead into bigger ones, I know from personal experience. So God has given us commandments for our well being on the earth.

Week 48 Good Morning Everyone!

So this week I can't really remember a lot that has happened besides eating pizza 5 times this last week, with 4 Americans everything is so cheap! This area that I'm in we are working a lot with less active members and its so sad to see that they have fallen away from the path. Last week we as a mission read 2nd Nephi 31-33 and there are only two paths..one of God and one of the Satan. We need to do whatever we can to follow God's path so we can receive exaltation. That's the main purpose of our life so we can live worthily in the eyes of God. Jesus Christ already prepared this way for us, its simple, its done,we just have to follow but why aren't we? cause Satan's way it a lot easier? Stop right now stop and think whats better? A good feeling of our body or natural human or eternal life with God and Jesus Christ and an eternal family. Wake up people and follow this path that God and Christ have given us. I've never been so happy in my life and I know without a doubt that this is the way, this is the only way we are gonna be saved and I don't want to enter that celestial kingdom without the people who I love, Ray, Dylan and Dylan. I love you boys and when I get home one year from today we're gonna do this together. This is the only true church, this is God's and Christ's church. They have given us commandments for guidance and protection. I love this gospel and I know its true and I wanna share this happiness I have with everyone. Everyone will be a lot happier with this gospel in their lives, that's a promise. I love you all.

Week 46 Whats Good?

Hey everyone whats good? Its yo boy Elder Foote on the email and its about to get wicked....lol. So this week was pretty good, actually we had a baptism and I've figured out in my area the best way to work is with menos ativos and famílias incompletas. So we are having a good turn out from this. We have two more baptisms this next week and then transfers, so I'm gonna give it all i got and baptize the world. It rained a ton this last week too! Also the time changed so we get one less hour of sleep and its kinda hard I wont lie, but I'm working and I'm happy! I hope you all have a nice wonderful week. Send me hand cards please.

Week 44 Conference Weekend

Hey everyone,

 I hope you all had a good week and loved the conference as much as I did. I just want to say to you what I learned, we all need to stop being selfish bastards and serve others. So, I hope you can all do that, and if you do, one day we can enter the Lord's kingdom.

 There were some good talks and honestly I hope you all felt the sweet spirit there and will study the talks and learn from them and apply them in your lives. This short time I've been learning to know my Savior Jesus Christ and I know that he died for me and all of you too. I love this place and these people and want to share Jesus Christ's gospel with everyone so they can learn to know our savior more. Have a safe good week.

Week 43 Friends and Family

Hey everyone, I love you all and miss you all a ton, but I'm not gonna lie, I love the mission too. I'm working everyday and teaching people to be like Jesus. I recently read a talk about different types of missionaries. Honestly these two years are nothing and time is flying so I gotta give it all I have and help as many people as possible. I never realized how real the atonement is and I love it. It has carried me so far and when I am tired and feel like I cant do anymore, I feel the help of our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I love this work and I'm so grateful for this time I have to serve. We had a baptism this week and are having another this week now. I hope you all are good.

Week 42 I'm A Real Missionary!

So, I'm sure you are wondering why this is my title. So once a wise brother-in-law told me (Jake Hansen), you aren't a real missionary until you crap you pants on the mission. So sadly it happened but means I'm working so hard huh. Que coisa boa.

 This week was pretty fun we have a brand new missionary American in the house. So its pretty fun! We have a baptism this Saturday. So we are working and having a fun time. I love you all and hope you guys are safe!

Week 39 YO

Hey this week was pretty good everyone! We had a baptism! I'm so pumped! We are working a ton having a fun time here! Also its been getting freaking hot as heck so we bought hats to work in! its Pretty dope huh. Not much else is happening. Working and i feel dead all the time but it'll be worth it! Gotta Baptize. Its like more addicting than any drug I've tried! ;) love you all.

Week 38 Week 1 Again?

Yeah, so I forgot which week I am at, so lets start over.

 So this week was pretty good. We had a conference and interviews with President Campos and Sister Campos, what lovely wonderful people they are. They are so amazing I love them. Anyways, this week I have learned a lot with Patience. I'm still learning a lot with this word Patience because I'm not very good with it, but I have realized this Transfer I have been working Harder, more Diligently, More Obedient than I have on my mission and the results aren't coming in how I want. Sometimes we want results right away but it will always come on the Lord's time. I know the Lord is seeing my work and is blessing my family and preparing people for me to meet. I love this work and this church. I know it is the only true church here on the earth which means its the only way to return to our Loving Heavenly Father. Be patient and rely on the Lord and the blessings will fall into your life. I love you all and have a great week. Merry Christmas.

Week 37 Wassup!!

Wassup my friends and family. This week was pretty good! So this week was the second time i bought a umbrella on the mission and the first day i used it, it broke! :) i have such good luck. So idk whats been happening, we do the same stuff all the time and I teach people and meet new people and its great. I feel the love of Our Heavenly Father for every one of these people and want to show them the best way possible and when people accept its the happiest thing in the missionary life. I love teaching people about Our Savior Jesus Christ and his mercy. I love the Lord and he is my greatest example for everything in our lives. I'm trying my hardest to be like him everyday and I hope you all are too. I know the Jesus Christ lives and he is the son of a living God who loves us and wants the best for us. Week 36... Back together Again!!

Hey everyone this week was a killer I'm working my butt off and trying to baptize people over here! If everything goes right ill have one this Sunday! I'm happy and working! Me and Elder Schade (my comp from the CTM) had splits together. People are in love with us! We work good together. Week 35 Transfers!

Hey everyone so today I'm getting transferred again! I'm leaving Gravataí which i was in for 3 weeks and going back to Zone Novo Hamburgo! Jut a different area there! Ill be opening up the area with my new companion! I don't know who it is yet lol! but ill be leaving shortly! Also shout out to my boys Gavin Turley and Dylan Lesueur for their birthdays this week! Week 34 Just another mission email

So this week was tight. We had a mission tour with Elder Aidukatis and he basically just roasted us the whole time and told us how we need to be way better than we are doing. Other than that i also did learn a lot and ready to baptize the heck out of people. Also at church i translated everything for one of our investigators cause he doesn't speak Portuguese, but he speaks English but holy im forgetting English lol. Also i was sick as a dog yesterday and ended up in the hospital yesterday. It was awful and i dont like shots at all. All is good though and its a good life but im getting too happy so somethings gonna happen next week with transfers to ruin it all. I love you all.

Week 33 Changes

Hey everyone! This week has been super fun! So I got emergency transferred! I'm with Elder Gonçalves, in Gravataí which is the same stake as i started my mission! So its all gonna be fun and games here and now I'm living with 4 missionaries! I'm so happy and ready to baptize the world here!!!!!! Week 32 Challenge For All!

Hey everyone this week was pretty good! It was a lot better of a week and had some good success! I've been reading The Book of Mormon lately and all the stories I've seen in it has helped me so much and how many Prophets have prayed for help and have used their faith but then they worked diligently to show our Heavenly they needed and wanted his help! Sometimes we want all these blessings to be in our life right away but we will sit and wait for them! That does nothing! I have learned from my mission and for the rest of my life, we are always representatives of Jesus Christ and for us to receive these blessings we need to work a little harder, a little more. I challenge you all to open you mouth one time this week, speak to someone about the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the difference it'll make in your life will be incredible! I'm so happy to be a missionary and to share the true happiness that we have and we all deserve! I love you all and exercise your faith this week!

Week 31 Brasil!

Hey everyone i think the hardest parts of the mission is trying to figure out the titles of these emails! So this week was kinda really sucky...lol We have been working our butts off over here and we aren't having very much luck at all! We had 0 investigators come to church with us and it sucks cause if they don't go to church they can't be baptized! I don't know but here no one has a desire to go to church or they say they will don't show up and i don't know how to change it we have been trying everything and getting rides for them to go and they still ignore us and we call them and everything its just a little rough here other than that this week we had some splits with our Zone Leaders which was pretty fun! Also we were walking in the street and heard some screaming and saw a guy take off on his bike with a lady's cellphone. So we watched a lady get robbed it was strange, got the blood pumping then i started day dreaming of how sick it would've been if i like hit the guy on the bike and got the phone then i came back to reality lol. Not much else is happening! We are making cupcakes later today and tomorrow are gonna be so American for the 4th of July! Have a good American week everyone stay safe! Week 28 Whats Happening

Honestly this week just passed by so fast like every other week but like it sucked. We had some good splits with our Zone Leaders and they are so funny I learned a lot from them and love them! But other than that we have some investigators that are golden and they are like yes please baptize me and i got my answers this is true. Then i say perfect we will pick you up for church Sunday and no one leaves their house or no one goes, its killing me! I honestly don't know what to do! You get hecka blessings when you go to church! So people go to church at home! I don't get these Brazilians i though three hours of church was long but these crazy guys they go everyday here! Like every night they have church! Why would you want that when its not even true. Weird huh. Transfers is next week and it should have some exciting news!! Anyways i hope everyone has a good week! love and miss you all. Also please prayer that we will have people go to church cause for about 5 weeks we've only had one go and i promised my Zone Leaders this week i would get 8 there! Week 27 My Dearest Friends

This week was pretty alright. Its been raining a ton and its freezing cold, it sucks so bad because we are always in the streets.

 We also got some new stuff for our apartments and so some days we have been setting it up in our house and its even harder because we didn't have good tools but the new sink and closet are up and running! 

Our baptism fell through this week and he didn't want anymore of us. This week we have a class of English we are gonna teach! Super stoked hope people come. Not much else has been happening. Love you all and have a safe week.

Week 26 MIRACLES!

This week I've seen a miracle. We working our lives away and we werent having any luck and so I said a prayer for us and during the prayer I said please help us find a family of 4! The next house we hit we met a family of 3 but I was still grateful and about half way through the lesson another one of their kids walked out! It was a family of 4!! I was almost in tears!
 Guys I know that Heavenly Father answers every single prayer and if you are reading this and dont know anything about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints I invite you personally to pray to our Heavenly Father and ask and when you recieve that assurance to be baptized! I promise you all this is the best way for everyone! I love this work and being here and its the best thing for me! I love you all. Other than that it was a good week and ready to work another!
